GradeGrower Tutoring only hires experienced, qualified adults with prior school experience and college degrees. We don’t believe in high-pressure sales tactics or taking advantage of our clients by locking you into long-term contracts.
But here’s what probably separates us from most other tutoring services: We don’t work with everyone — this is why we require a brief consultation to ensure that it’s a mutually good fit.
There’s a lot more that makes GradeGrower unique among tutoring companies but our proven track record for changing students’ lives is probably the biggest reason why our reputation throughout Florida has spread in just a few short years. We invite you to learn for yourself what makes us different! -
Unfortunately, GradeGrower Tutoring only offers 60 minute sessions. We’ve found this to be the ideal amount of time for effective tutoring, particularly for younger students with short attention spans. It sometimes takes a few minutes to get kids focused, bathroom breaks are requested or there may be topics that require multiple attempts at explanation, which is why we do not recommend 30 minute sessions to our clients.
Parents who wish to reserve tutoring longer than one hour may book back-to-back sessions (this is also helpful if siblings work with the same tutor). -
Originally born from the desire to keep our students engaged with reading during the summer break, our small group reading intensives are now available throughout the year.
Studies have shown the many benefits of small, discussion-based reading groups. Our tutors facilitate guided reading and conversation in a fun, lively and engaging way that makes reading fun — and it often accelerates reading improvement without the kids even knowing it!Form your own small group or let us choose one for you. These groups fill up quickly so please reach out if you are interested in joining the wait list or have any other questions.

We want tutoring to be as painless as possible for you and your child. We don’t do expensive membership tiers or try to lock you into expensive packages. All of our sessions are pay-as-you-go, and you’re free to cancel anytime — no questions asked.
All we ask is that you provide at least 24 hours notice for cancelations. -

You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly— but please give us up to 72 hours due to our busy client load. If it is urgent please indicate so in your message.

Not really. Our students have achieved success using both in-person and virtual tutoring and all of our tutors are well-trained to ensure that there is not a drop-off in service quality for our virtual clients.
That said, some students may do better with in-person tutoring, particularly those who are too young to log online by themselves or who lack the appropriate attention span to be on a computer unattended.
If you have any questions or concerns about online tutoring please feel free to contact us.
