Our eight-week Small Group Reading Intensives create a welcoming space where children build confidence and discover the joy of reading—together. In small groups of just 3–5 students, your child meets twice a week for an hour each session and works closely with a caring, expert tutor who truly gets to know and understand your child’s reading strengths, challenges, and interests.
Students will read an age-appropriate book cover to cover, developing fluency, vocabulary, and reading stamina along the way. Through guided, conversation-based discussions, our tutors help students think critically about what they read—exploring characters, plot, themes, and literary devices—while sharing practical strategies your child can use to improve reading comprehension and boost test scores!
We thoughtfully group students by reading level, or you can create a group with friends or classmates—an option many homeschool families love! This program offers the personalized support of private tutoring at a more affordable price, making it a fun, supportive, and effective way to help your child grow into a confident, capable reader.
